Promise Land Ministry

This is our ministry for babies through 3 year olds. Our vision in Promiseland is to connect with and supplement the family as they lay a foundation for spiritual formation and to create an environment of care that helps children positively experience God's love, leading them to begin their journey of becoming fully devoted followers of Christ.

Sundays
9:00 & 10:30 am: Promiseland available during both services

Wednesdays
6:30 - 8:00 pm: Nursery available for Babies through 2 1/2 years old to support Adult Bible Studies and Small Groups. Bible Bears is our mid-week program for 2 1/2 through 4 year olds. This is a fun class where we memorize scripture, do crafts, have a snack and enjoy being together.

Bunnies (babies)

This class is equipped with everything a baby could want...cribs for napping, swings and bouncers, toys for play and loving arms for holding. Also located in Promiseland, nursing mothers will find a private area for nursing. A rocker or recliner is available to you in this area.

Turtles (1 year-olds)

This classroom is set up with slides, rocking horses, a reading area, a small kitchen area and lots of love! Cheerios, animal crackers and apple juice are served. Bible truths are presented in creative ways that are sure to interest even the busiest child.

Puppies (2 year-olds)

In this classroom, Bible truths are presented in creative ways that are sure to interest our busy little 2 year-olds. A specially designed Curriculum is used for teaching and is supplemented by coloring and craft projects. These children also have ample time for play with toys and "center" oriented play with puzzles, a kitchen area and a small reading area. During the 10:30 service, a curriculum known as Babies Bible, an interactive hands-on program designed to use all the senses is taught. Words are heard and remembered through songs, visual aids are seen and touched and maybe even something to wear! The lesson lasts approximately 10 minutes at a special Baby Bible table. The goal of Babies Bible is to provide a loving, secure environment in which to give each child a foundation for future Bible knowledge and spiritual growth.

Owls (3 year-olds)

In this classroom you will find a home living area with child-sized furniture and dishes, a workshop area, reading area, block building, trucks and cars and baby doll areas. These children are learning to follow simple, reasonable rules that help the group to function well. Specially designed curriculum is also used for these children and teaching is supplemented with art/craft projects, games and occasional videos. Frequent repetition of Bible stories helps them remember story facts, concepts and applications. Baby Bible is also taught in this class during the 10:30 service. It is expanded to last approximately 12-15 minutes of interactive time with their Baby Bible teacher. They just might come home singing some of these songs!!
